Rahul Singh founded Global Medic in 1999 to honour the memory of his best friend who tragically lost his life in 1998. Combining a passion for humanitarian assistance with a frontline emergency perspective, Singh developed GlobalMedic’s unique operational mandate of providing efficient and cost effective disaster relief in the immediate aftermath of a catastrophe using professional emergency workers.

Swabir was born and raised in the inner-city communities of Scarborough, and his passion for youth mentoring led to the creation of The Good Guides in 2020. As an outgoing, award-winning activist, Swabir sits on the steering committee of East-Scarborough Storefront and is a Youth Advisory Committee member for the Chief of the Toronto Police Service.

Amina is a fourth-year student at the University of Guelph-Humber pursuing an undergraduate degree in applied science and a diploma in Community and Justice Services. She was also among the first cohorts of Good Guide ambassadors that helped support homeless encampments throughout the downtown core last year and currently volunteers to mentor current Good Guide ambassadors.

Originally from Montréal, Québec, Nikole Bélanger has over 30 years of experience managing businesses in multiple disciplines. Since 2008, she has been a part of an initiative led by Al Gore: The Climate Reality Project – Canada. Nikole has worked extensively on developing not-for-profit organizations with Green Schools Green Future as her encompassing pillar. She continuously brings together people and projects.

Jing Chen
Jing has an undergrad degree on international relations, and a master's degree on political science and government management. Jing was the head of CUPL MUN association in college, where she successfully held the 2nd CUPL national model UN conference in China. Graduated with honor from SFU, Jing was in charge of a nonprofit youth community in Vancouver- Canadian youth leadership training center, and is a certified award teacher of Duke of Edinburgh’s international award. With years of experience working with youth, Jing founded LETUSMUN in 2021.

A language lover, she speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, French, and Japanese and is passionate about exploring the impacts of language on communication and thought.

Angela Bischoff has worked with the environmental non-profit sector for more than 3 decades in 4 Canadian cities working on issues ranging from eco-cities, transportation, climate, mental health and elections. She is the Director of the Ontario Clean Air Alliance, a small but mighty group aiming to move Ontario onto a 100% renewable path. She also practices and teaches yoga, commutes daily by bike, and cares for her aging mother.

Ben Schwartz brings over a decade of experience as a consultant to business, non-profit, and education leaders. He is the founder of multiple international education organizations and has supported the growth and operational improvements of a range of educational institutions globally. His most recent project, SageExperience.org, brings together students from Africa, Asia, the Americas, Australia, and Europe to develop cross -cultural leadership skills through a cutting-edge curriculum with real-world practice executing projects with communities in West Africa.

20 years ago was hired by YSM to create, develop and coordinate the first employment Centre for street youth in Ontario, which grew into YSM Employment Services. As a Certified Life Skills Coach she has over 20 years’ experience working with women, youth and their families. Her experience spans across developing and coordinating conferences, helping small businesses and not-for profit organizations succeed, facilitator, keynote speaker at various events and designing and implementing women and youth programs.

Brian is a motivated leader and individual in his community. His unique vision has earned him the opportunity to work with Youth Dream Canada as the marketing lead. Along with the rest of the team, Brian thrives on all kinds of challenges, especially those that expand YDC’s reach. At the age of 17, Brian has established himself as a detail-oriented individual, with the passion to support his community through his skills and knowledge in business and marketing. He has a strong interest in the financial markets and wishes to pursue a career in the field later on.
