Bridging Generations
Bridging Generations is a multimedia project delving into the intricate dynamics of Chinese-Immigrant parent(s) versus Canadian-raised child(ren) households. With a mission to illuminate the untold stories of second-generation youth and challenge stereotypes about immigrant identities, BG addresses the experiences of 1.7 million Chinese-Canadians navigating their nationality, ethnicity, and culture.
Through initiatives like the Interview Documentary and Online Exhibition, BG unveils the nuanced realities of Chinese Canadians. The Poster Campaign and Artist in Residency amplify diverse voices, fostering understanding and connection. By spotlighting diverse voices, we hope to build greater cultural understanding.

MedCreate
MedCreate is an international organization dedicated to highlighting the importance of the humanities in medicine. We believe that the alienation of these two fields negatively affects the growth and progression of young, aspiring medical professionals. One needs the skills from the arts to be a kind and efficient healthcare worker. That is why MedCreate has offered free classes in things such as art, creative writing, music, as well as school subjects. We believe that access to education regarding the arts should also be accessible to all.
MedCreate also has a podcast called Flatline: When Medicine Kills, to encourage conversations about ethics in medicine. MedCreate is a 2023 Top-Rated Nonprofit by Great Non-Profit, a title which it has retained for two years. We have 488 members spanning 6 continents, 34 countries, and 219 cities, and are always looking for more hard-working youth!

Unlimited Flow Organization
At Unlimited Flow, our mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of location, has access to the period products they need, thereby combating the pervasive issue of period poverty. The stigma surrounding menstruation is deeply ingrained, spanning centuries, leaving many without the necessary resources to manage their periods. In far too many places, women are forced to resort to makeshift solutions like using tent scraps as makeshift pads. Beyond the physical toll, these practices erode dignity and self-respect.
We aim to challenge the notion that menstruation is shameful or embarrassing, fostering open conversations and empowering individuals to speak freely about periods. Moreover, we are committed to expanding access to period products, viewing every donation as a meaningful step toward breaking down period taboos and addressing period poverty.
